W2 Freedom, LLC is a private equity firm managing the Community Bank Strategic Equity Fund, LLC. W2 Freedom invests in community banks, thrifts and other financial intermediaries and specializes in assisting our portfolio companies in improving their growth and/or profitability.
W2 Freedom primarily invests in community banks and thrifts with total assets ranging from $50 to $500 million operating in markets that meet our investment criteria. After making an investment, we work closely with our community bank and thrift partners and leverage the financial services experience of our principals to increase franchise value.
W2 Freedom believes it is positioned to create value in the financial services sector given the principals' experience and the Fund's unique partnership approach to assist community banks and thrifts in improving long-term intrinsic value.
